Why did my guitar strings wear out so fast?
I play the acoustic guitar and just changed my strings two weeks ago and they’re already brown and lifeless… I always wash my hands before playing.
I switch tunings a lot though, always use a capo, and mostly fingerpick.
I rarely strum the guitar.
I almost always fingerpick.
I normally use Elixirs but my friend bought me a pack of D’Addoria’s or whatever the f*ck they’re called.
I’m not autistic.
Some people have a higher PH level. When you sweat, you will rust the strings. The Elixirs have a coating on them that prolongs the life
if you have higher PH levels.
I have a friend that has this problem and he has to use the Elixrs.
P.S make sure your hands and DRY before you touch the strings.
